How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

What?
This CITO Event will involve trimming back the side growth along the historic Velvet Path and clearing the drains to keep the path as dry as possible to help prevent erosion.

Where?
We will meet at the listed coordinates, where free parking is available and then walk up to the area of the Velvet Path where we will be working.

When?
Friday 27th October 2017 – After meeting at 10:00AM, Countryside Ranger Jenny Heskett will give a Health and Safety Briefing, explain the work that we will be undertaking and issue tools. We will stop for lunch at some point and brews throughout the day until ending at approximately 3:00PM.

How?
Please dress appropriately for a day of working outside. Although all tools required will be supplied, please bring a packed lunch and your own work gloves if you have them.

If you wish to come to this event, please post a Will Attend log, as I need to let the Ranger know numbers so that she can bring enough tools and biscuits! Also, if changes need to be made, I will make an announcement and you will receive notification of the changes
