Unarchive a geocache

Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

"60 Years of Holden"

THIS AREA HAS 1080 BAITS

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR GEO-PETS

Being Australian and have always owned a Holden, I decided to put out a series to celebrate the

"6o YEARS OF HOLDENS".

On the 29th of November 1948, the very first Holden was launched; this was the 'FX' Holden. Since then Holden have continued to keep producing model after model right up to the present day which is the 'VE Commodore'. Holden proudly produced our well know Commodores, Monaro’s, Torana's, Geminis and many more which I will list through this series.

If you have lived in Australia, I am pretty sure many of you have owned or at least driven a Holden at some time in your lives and if you haven’t, well then...."You’re missing Out"...

*YOU WILL NEED A HANDHELD GPS PHONE RECEPTION IS REALLY LOW TO NONE AT ALL*

It is a beautiful state forest that consists of mainly (like the name of the road suggests) Jarrah trees. It does have many other trees, fauna and animals that you will proably see like kangaroos and I have even seen wild emus running around.

All of these Holden caches are on UNSEALED roads. They are all accessible by 2wd but it can be very corrugated in sections and surface can get uneven in the wetter months due to the heavy rainfall. So a 4wd would be more preferable at these times. It would also be an enjoyable experience also on mountain bikes.

The caches all vary in size but the difficulty and the terrain remains about the same through the series. Most the caches have a writing stick included and have room for small swaps and trackables. An extraction tool will be needed with some caches. Please return caches as you found them and I hope you enjoy this series....
