Follow your GPS to one of San Diego's densest forests. This enchanted forest exists below sea level. You won't have to dive to get credit for the cache, but will have to find some way to cross approximately one half mile of open sea. Thus the terrain rating for this cache is a 5.
Due to normally calm conditions novices visit this spot frequently, but if you decide to hunt this cache please exercise your best judgement and do not exceed your capabilities. Do not attempt this cache during high surf, swells, or winds. Dress appropriately and carry safety gear such as personal floatation and signalling devices. The cache seeker assumes all risks associated with seeking this cache.
Once at the cache site please take the time to explore the upper levels of the forest. Creatures commonly seen include sea lions and seals, numerous types of sea birds, jellyfish, and all manner of fish including barracuda, mackeral, sardines, yellowtail, and the strange looking mola. Less commonly seen are sea turtles, dolphins, and whales.
If you don't have your own means of transportation to reach the cache you can rent the necessary equipment near the recommended start point.
