Heart Mountain is close to Calgary (75 km) and
can often be ascended year-round. Heart Mountain would probably be
a little more difficult than Yamnuska or Moose Mtn. due to the
steeper pitch and scramble conditions. There is little or no
exposure on Heart Mountain if you stay on the well travelled trails
near the trees. As with any scramble, danger is around the corner
if you don't remain focused.
Parking for Heart Mountain is just east of the Lac des Arcs
overpass on the east side of Heart Creek.
The cache is a standard LnL container with the usual logbook, TB
and numerous goodies. See the spoiler picture for this cache.
