Park at the last parking area on the left up Archangel Road before you reach the bridge. The trail goes off this parking area, on the up-valley side. The somewhat overgrown trail is a rocky old roadbed, which first climbs very gradually, then more steeply toward the end. The road leads, eventually, to two tumbled mine shafts, which are very picturesque and wonderful. The cache is actually back down the road from there. It was once a cabin, built into the side of the slope, but all that's left is the drystone rock foundation, complete with a doorway. Stand in that doorway and imagine what this valley was like to wake up to when this was a functioning mine! The cache is well hidden (I hope) among the rocks of the wall. Be careful not to disrupt the integrity of the foundation! A very generous hint is provided to minimize the possibility of damaging the fitting of the rocks.
