Connection Collection Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

This should be a relatively easy cache- the first one I've placed.  Not quite a park-and-grab, but close if you come on days when parking is open.

This is a cache location that only an engineer can love.  It's dual purpose- looks like a piece of abstract art, but is also a demonstration piece for various types of structural steel member connections.  It is appropriate for it's location.  Look closely at all of the members and all of the ways in which they are connected to one another.  I'm not sure if this object has a name or title- if it has I've never heard it- but it's hard to mistake once you see it.  There are signs on it that say "Do Not Climb", but somehow I don't think that's it's name.

The sky is partially masked from the south, west, and north- the best approach is from the east.  If you lose position resolution, you should be within easy sight of the location.

Cache container is a small metal can containing a logbook, a few trinkets, and a crisp new first president for the FTF.  It can hold very small trinkets, but does not contain a writing implement, so BYOP.
