About Mooliabeenee Airstrip
The Mooliabeenee Airstrip was built during World War II for the dispersal of aircraft and as a secondary strip if Pearce was put out of action. After the War, it was used as a racing circuit. In 1954, the World Motorcycle Champion Jeff Duke raced at the Airstrip.
