This a multi geocahe to invite you to Felsöörs in Hungary.
Felsoörs is a small beatiful scenic village in Veszprém county in Hungary. It is 4 km from the lake Balaton to the North and 9 km from Veszprém to the South. The name of the village appears first time in a charter of St. László in 1082. On the top of the rocky side of the Malom (mill) valley was built up the castle of family Örs at the very beginning of the XII century. The family partly diyed out, partly moved, and the castle consumed. But the place is now called Miske after its owner Miske I. of Örs.
The main show-place of the village is the catholic provostship church, the Red-Church, the most beautiful Roman ages monument of the Highlands of the lake Balaton.
The first point is in the middle of the village Felsoörs the red-stone cross next to the Red Church (N 47° 00,841' & E 17° 57,112').
