To find this geocache, you will need a GPS and a smartphone. To play this Augmented Reality geocache you will need to download an app called "metaverse." It is available on both android and ios devices. You will need to download this app and sign in. There may be more than one app called metaverse, so make sure that you are downloading the correct app - the logo should be pink with a white "M" in the middle.

Once you have the app installed, you will need to go out to the posted coordinates. There is no geocache there, but this cartridge is location based, so it will not work unless you are within 40 meters of the posted coordinates. Go to the posted coordinates and launch the app. (make sure that you gave permission to use your location and your camera or the cartridge will not work) You should see a cartridge called "Shawshank Redemption" listed under nearby experiences, or you can type "Swawshank Redemption" in the search bar. Once you see the cartridge, go ahead and click on it. When you have the cartridge launched, you should see Andy Dufresne on your smartphone screen. He may not be directly in front of you, so if you don't see him, follow the instructions on your smartphone screen. You should be able to spot him. Once you see him, just follow the instructions until you get the final coordinates. Once you have the final coordinates, you will need to enter them into a GPS device.
