Philbert Phlamingo placed a GREAT BIG park and grab right off state road 13 but things have changed recently and the hide has shrunken

The Wawasee Area Conservatory Foundation (the folks who provided the land this cache sits on) recently participated in getting a a boardwalk installed that connects the town with their preserve. It has increased the foot traffic through the area dramatically.

Philbert Phlamingo (propritor of the nearby Mingo Manor TB hotel) has a a whole flock of friends that rest in the nearby wetlands. They ultimately move on and congregate just south of here near Philbert's nest of other caches. Their journey sometimes leaves them weak and hungry so Philbert put out a large bucket of bird seed as a sort of bird fuel station. The bucket was a 5 gallon variety and while it stayed in place for several years the new boardwalk has brought too many prying eyes to the area and the cache stash was stolen.  So Philbert has left a smaller container in its place for his flock of faithful followers.  Inside it he left writen instructions on business cards to point the way to the ultimate prize, Indiana's largest cache container located just a few miles away.  There his friends will find all sorts of goodies and entertainment.  Be sure to stop by if your in the area. Its got well over 150 favorite points and is considered by many to be a destination cache..
