Het Slotermeercircuit is 'die grote rotonde' waar zo'n beetje elke Amsterdammer veelvuldig tijdens zijn auto- of motor-rijlessen is gepasseerd.
Formeel is het helemaal geen rotonde (maar een 'circuit'), en op Google Earth kun je zien dat het circuit ook helemaal niet rond is maar eerder 'afgerond vierkant'.
Door de nabijheid van het examenkantoor van het CBR is dit een populaire wijk voor verkeersexamens en vele rijscholen kiezen er dan ook voor hun leerlingen hier voor te bereiden.
Er staan op deze plek geregeld files van auto- motor-, vrachtwagen- en bus-rijscholen, met de incidentele E-achter-B ertussendoor.
Verkeerstechnisch is het circuit interessant doordat er ook nog 3 tramlijnen (7, 13 en 14) overheenlopen. Deze brengen je in een kwartiertje in hartje Amsterdam.
De cache is een 'small' maar toch duidelijk zichtbaar 'verstopt'. Neem zelf een pen mee want die ontbreekt!

The 'Slotermeercircuit' is known as 'that very big roundabout' in the New-West of Amsterdam. Many citizens have taken their car- or motorbike-lessons here.
Officially this place is not a roundabout; it is a 'circuit'. Checking Google Earth you can see that the circuit is not actually round; it is in fact a 'rounded square'.
Because the Amsterdam branch of the CBR (the dutch 'driving test agency') is very nearby a lot of motoringschools prepare their students in this area.
You can easily spot numerous L-signed cars, trucks, motorbikes and busses around here as well as trailers (that we need a special license for over here).
Adding to the educational value of the circuit is the crossing of 3 trams (lines 7, 13 and 14), that will take you to the centre of Amsterdam in 15 minutes.
The cache is a 'small', but is clearly hidden in plain sight. Please bring your own pencil as that won't fit!
