Geocache Description:

W2W
Well 2 Well
The Well2Well Series has been placed to add an extra option for the great Halo Series.
For those who want a nice circular walk around the northern end of Halo caches, the Well2Well series offers a link between Luxulyan in the west and Lanlivery in the east. Both ends of the Well2Well Series meet up with the Halo route at two Holy Wells which both have nearby caches.

St Cyors Holy Well in Luxulyan GC36RBD is in a lovely little corner close by the Saints Way. The well is maintained by the owners of the adjacent house. The nearest Halo Series Cache is St Briochus.
St Brevita Holy Well Cache in Lanlivery GCRWMA is on the Well2Well route just before you emerge in Lanlivery adjacent to a welcoming hostelry. The actual well is about 50 m off the path via a permissive path through an attractive private garden. (Please note, the cache is not at the well - it is alongside the Well2Well path) The nearest Halo Cache to this one is St Ladoca.
The Well2Well Series is on 3 km of narrow lane and farmland footpaths with some great views across to the South Cornish Coast and distant views of the high points of Bodmin Moor.
The Halo Series from St. Ladoca to St Briochus via St Mabyn on Helman Tor is approximately 8.5 km of ridgeway, rural lane and valley walks. The whole 11.5 km circular walk is a comfortable day walk with no really steep climbs or difficult terrain with a total of 47 caches available.
Parking is available in a number of places around the circuit including at Helman Tor, in Luxulyan near the church just up the road from St Cyors Well and in Lanlivery near the village pub.
Well2Well - No.2
Walk on down the lane and take the left turn signposted Lanlivery at the bottom of the valley. This cache is near a gateway into a field and also to a small old quarry which must have been the source of the stone for a number of the nearby buildings. No need to go through the gate. This could be a cache and dash. Cache is a small plastic tube inside a camo bag under a stone.
