The event will be held at Popp's Ferry Causeway Park in Biloxi. The park is visible while crossing the bridge but many people don't even realize it is a city park. There have been a lot of improvements done to the park over the past few years including finally repairing damage from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This is a very popular spot for fishermen and has a very active boat launch as well. Unfortunately, this means a lot of trash is left behind.
Knowing this is the southeast and a Saturday in September, we had to do our best to not interfere with college football. After checking the kickoff times for 7 teams that have a lot of local interest, I realized the NCAA is terrible at scheduling kickoff times. One team has a night game, one starts at 2:30 and the other 5 teams have start times that are yet to be determined. To be safe we will kickoff this event at 9:30 AM.

We will provide trash bags but if you can think of anything else that may help out please bring it along.
