Wear your aluminum foil beanie- the best path is under the power lines most of the way.
This is a small cache, so bring small stuff to trade. On public land, there is an obvious pull-out across the road from the trail head. Hike is a 0.79 mi. to the cache. Enjoy the wildflowers and the wildlife.
Note: the correct approach is not always the shorest distance between two points. Don't climb any fences or trespass on private property.
There will be two small springs across the path/road, so wear your rubber boots for this one.
Go through two gates. Stay on the lakefront path until you reach the waypoint for the road up.
