As I was placing the cache there were two separate CHP's passing
out tickets below. Just think, if you weren't up here caching, you
might have been one of those down there getting a ticket. There is
a excellent view of the valley and if you are tired, I can endorse
it is a great place to crash for a 15 minute power nap before you
continue your journey. Bring some KFC and watch the traffic zoom by
but remember CITO
It is rumored that Sloigo has passed on...not exactly...he's
just passed on, as in moved out of the area, to another
geographical location and is unable to maintain his caches in our
area of travel. My family decided to adopt a few of them. We could
have let them get archived, and then claim the spots for our own
caches. Seems the better honor is to keep them going, and say thank
you to someone who has made a difference in our geocaching world.
He was one of the first cachers we met face to face. By the time we
parted ways that day our arms were loaded with containers,
paperwork, and a wide assortment of caching supplies. You might say
we were loaded by "Bear". Thanks to cacher, SLOIGO, for his years
of dedication and contributions to geocaching. As of today the
adoption papers are signed, sealed & delivered. The cache is
once again open for business, moved slightly from the original
location, and in a larger container than has been here for a while.
Please rehide very carefully. This is a spot that people enjoy.
Seems when the sunsets are getting nicer the muggles are getting
nosier.
