Geocache Description:

This is one of those many unusual holidays on the calendar- this date happens to be National Clam Chowder Day! When I came to California for the first time years ago, I discovered that a local dish was New England clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl! I admit I still indulge in this meal now and then...although for this event you don't have to! Just come prepared to talk geocaching with fellow cachers, discover and exchange TBs and generally have a laid-back good time.
