Thousands of acres of beautiful land located along the Tennessee
River was recently donated to Decatur County and now Decatur County
Parks and Recreation has taken the opportunity to offer a great
hiking trail to the community.
A parking area is provided at the trail head entrance located at
the corner of Smith Gravel Pit Road and Carroll Cabin Road. The
trail itself is about two miles in length and offers an opportunity
to view the scenic beauty of the park. There is an information
Kiosk located at the trail head adjacent to the parking lot to give
you an overview of the park and its boundaries.
The mystery coordinates to this cache shouldn't be to hard to
find. Find the only 2007 geocoin made in the shape of the state of
Tennessee and you will find that the coordinates are located on the
edge of the coin. Just find a coin and you will find the
coordinates!!
