Geocache Description:

「臺北市鐵觀音包種茶研發推廣中心」位於貓空地區。

茶推廣中心主要係在結合農業、生活、文化與休閒，提供市民一個知性的休閒活動場所，並引導民眾深入瞭解當地茶產業。

　　茶推廣中心設有茶葉展示室、茶藝活動中心、視聽教室，透過導覽解說的方式讓遊客瞭解木柵鐵觀音茶的製造過程、品茗、沖泡及茶葉保存方法，並介紹臺灣特色茶分布，對於想認識茶葉的人來說，是個不可多得的好去處。

　　茶推廣中心園區種植各種植物，包括桂花、茶花、櫻花、青楓等，是很好的植物觀察區，戶外設施則包括示範茶園區、氣象觀測坪、人工降雨沖蝕槽及生態池等。

　　茶推廣中心每年辦理20場茶體驗活動，包含採茶體驗、茶藝教學、茶點製作等；週六、日則有安排志工於現場提供免費導覽解說服務，平日（週二至週五）僅受理團體預約，有需要的團體須兩星期前預約，導覽內容包括茶藝指導、茶園及生態導覽等。
