We visited Apatin for the first time to take part in the annual Apatin Darts Open here at the MS Elkop Kuglana venue, hosted by the Serbian Darts Association.
The Austrian National Youth Team came together with some fellow youth players of the Darts-Control Youth squad from Vienna to take part in the tournament. In 2018 we succeded in getting first place and second place of the youth tournament.
So after a great weekend in Apatin, enjoying the tournament and the festival in the city, we came by this place during our trip back to Vienna and had a breakdown with a flat tire. So we had to wait 4 hours for the service car. In this time we not only got visited by a police patrouille but also had the idea to place a cache in memory of our stay here between the fields.

Wir besuchten Apatin zum ersten Mal 2018, um an den jährlichen Apatin Darts Open im MS Elkop Kuglana teilzunehmen, das von der serbischen Darts Association veranstaltet wird.
Die österreichische Jugendnationalmannschaft kam zusammen mit weiteren Jugendlichen der Darts-Control Jugend aus Wien zusammen, um an dem Turnier teilzunehmen. Im Jahr 2018 konnten wir den ersten und zweiten Platz des Jugendturniers erreichen.
Nach einem tollen Wochenende in Apatin, wo wir nicht nur das Turnier, sondern auch das Stadtfest in Apatin genießen konnten, sind wir auf der Rückfahrt nach Österreich hier vorbeigekommen und hatten leider eine Autopanne: Ein platter Reifen – hier – irgendwo im nirgendwo. Da wir fast 4 Stunden auf den Pannendienst warten mussten, hatten wir viel Zeit, Besuch einer Polizeipatrouille und die Idee dafür auch einen Cache auszulegen.

Posjetili smo Apatin po prvi puta, da bi učestovali na svakogodišnjem Apatin Darts Open u MS Elkop Kuglani, koje je pod punom organizacijom Srpskog Pikado Saveza.
Austrijska juniorska selekcija je se za taj dogadjaj spojila sa mladim talentima iz bečkog kluba Darts-Control. Ukupno na ovogodišnjim natjecanjima su mogli Austrijski zastupnici osvojiti prvo i drugo mjesto u disciplini "juniori muški"
Nakon predivnog vikenda u Apatinu, gdje nismo samo uživali u turnirskim dogadjajima nego i u tradicionalnom Apatinskom vašeru, smo na povratnom putu u Austriju imali čak i kvar na autu. Negnu i nigdje nam se probušila guma od auta. Pošto smo cijela 4 sata čekali na vučnu službu, imali smo mnoho vremena, posjetu domaće policije, i ideju da i za ovaj dogadjaj postavimo jedan Cache.
