NOTE: There have been reports of homeless people living in the general area of the cache. In many visits to the cache and surrounding area,I have not witnessed this myself, but suggest using caution in the area.
This is an EZ cache in a lightly used park. You will have to walk less than 300 yards from your vehicle.
This is my first hide, which is long overdue, hence the name.
I suggest parking near:N 40 03.913 W 083 01.708 There are a number of unmarked trails in the area. The cache is within 20 feet of a path. Extensive bushwhacking is unnecessary. Infrequently, during the summer, there will be activities taking place fairly close to the cache site. During these times, please use care to avoid being observed at the cache. If there are activities taking place, you may wish to enter the woods well to the south of the cache. At other times, you are relatively unlikely to be observed.
4/4/09 - The container is a camo covered Lock n Lock (5.3 cup). It contains some very nice trade items, including some trinkets from Canada and a Looney (our original signature item).
