La Pieve di Santa Maria alla Sovara, conosciuta semplicemente come Pieve alla Sovara, è un edificio sacro che si trova nell’omonima località ad Anghiari.
La pieve, ricordata fin dal 1030, sorse probabilmente intorno al IX-X secolo.
L'impianto originario è conservato all'esterno nelle tre belle absidi caratteristiche dell'architettura preromanica dell'aretino e probabilmente anteriori al Mille. Nell'XI-XII secolo fu innalzata la parte absidale e allungata la navata, con l'inserimento di un campanile di cui rimane traccia in facciata. In una seconda e più totale ristrutturazione compiuta tra il 1468 e il 1480 fu ricomposta la facciata e aggiunto il campanile laterale.
L'interno venne ridisegnato secondo il gusto rinascimentale ed articolato in quattro campate con arcate a tutto sesto spartite da colonne in pietra con capitelli compositi e finissime basi attiche.

The Pieve di Santa Maria alla Sovara, simply known as the Pieve Sovara, is a sacred building that is built in to Anghiari.
The church, mentioned since 1030, was probably built around the IX-X century.
The original structure is preserved outside the three beautiful apses features pre-Romanesque architecture of Aretino and probably predate Mille. In the XI-XII century was built the apse and the nave lengthened, with the addition of a bell tower of which traces remain in the facade. In a second and more total renovation completed between 1468 and 1480 it was reconstructed the facade and added the bell-tower.
The interior was redecorated in Renaissance style and divided into four bays with round arches divided by stone columns with composite capitals and fine attic bases.
