This cache is NOT at the posted coordinates, AND
you must complete the requirements below before logging a
find.
This Cache Maintenance Challenge is designed to help maintain
the area caches. It was placed in preparation for Geocoinfest
2010, but will continue after the event.
Before you can find and log this Cache Maintenance Challenge,
you must do the following:
- Identify physical caches within a
50 mile radius of the Mega-Event which have not been visited
(found, had a maintenance check, TB exchange, etc.). These can be
caches you have already found or not. They can also be caches that
you own.
- You must physically visit each of the caches. If the cache is a
multi-stage, you must visit all stages. Check the condition of the
cache. Make sure there is plenty of space remaining in the logbook.
There will be hundreds of cachers coming to Geocoinfest 2010, so we
want to be ready.
- Log each of the qualifying cache pages. Sign the physical log
for the qualifying caches. If this is your first visit to the
cache, post your online log for that cache as a find. If you have
previously visited and logged the cache, post a note, notifying the
user and the community that you visited and verified the cache to
be in working order.
Note: Any maintenance or repairs to the cache should be done
only with permission of the owner.
- When you have found and logged qualifying caches totaling 50
points, go find this Cache Maintenance Challenge. When you post
your find online, list the GC waypoint numbers of the qualifying
caches and points earned for each visit. You do not need to get
confirmation from me before logging, but I will be checking that
you met the requirements above.
Find logs for this Cache Maintenance Challenge that do
not meet the requirements will be deleted.

past 1 month, you get 1 point.
* For each cache you find/maintain that hasn't been found in the
past 2 months, you get 2 points.
* For each cache you find/maintain that hasn't been found in the
past 3 months, you get 5 points.
* For each cache you find/maintain that hasn't been found in the
past 6 months, you get 10 points.
* For each cache you find/maintain that hasn't been found in the
past 12 months, you get 25 points.
