Nice Little Cache series at the South Easterly end of Shrewsbury.You can do the whole series in just over an hour. Halfway through this Series you cross the busy Otley Road keep younger Geocachers close by when approaching this busy road.
This is a nice easy stroll from the horse Cache, The route takes you up through Sutton estate then to Otley road again a very busy road to cross keep young Geocachers close by and dog's on Leads.When over the road look right and you can see Percy Thrower's Garden Centre on a clear day you can also see Rodney's pillar in the distance.Just before you go over the A5 flyover turn right over the style and down the stairs. (Quite steep Take your time).Percy Thrower was a famous Shrewsbury Gardner and was born in Jan 1913 and died in March 1988, He done a lot of TV gardening and was the Blue Peter Gardener from 1974 to 1987, There is now a Garden center very close to this Cache named after the great man and if you are in town go into the dingle where there is also a bust of Percy, In this area there is also a great multi cache called Animal Hunt that takes you through some great area's of the town and it's history.
