Weg nach Linz
Der Rastplatz Engerwitzdorf ist einer von zwei
gegenüberliegenden Rastplätzen (Rastplatz Denk und
Engerwitzdorf), die am Ende der Mühlkreisautobahn A7 liegen.
Beim anderen Rastplatz befindet sich ebenfalls ein Cache: "Weg nach
Prag" (GC2348M)
Die Mühlkreisautobahn führt von Linz nach Norden ins
Mühlviertel und endet derzeit noch nach 27 km bei
Unterweitersdorf. Die A7 ist das am zweitstärksten befahrene
Strassenstück in Oberösterreich mit 63.790 Fahrzeugen pro
Tag im Stadtgebiet von Linz.
Bei der Eröffnung der Autobahn im Jahre 1964 war geplant, sie
bis an die tschechische Grenze bei Wullowitz/Dolní
Dvorište zu führen. Dieser Plan wurde aufgrund von
geringem Verkehr und Umweltschutzgründen jedoch fallen
gelassen. Anstatt dessen sollte die Autobahn durch das Gusental in
Richtung Freistadt verlaufen.
Das aktuelle Ende in Unterweitersdorf, welches auch oft aufgrund
des Verkehrsaufkommens in den Verkehrsnachrichten erwähnt
wird, soll bis 2015 bis nach Freistadt Nord über die
Schnellstraße S10 erweitert werden. Bis 2020/2025 soll die
Fertigstellung bis zur Grenze erfolgen.
Das Versteck der Cache-Dose orientiert sich an den Caches
"Stadflucht" (GC1ZWYA) und
"Landflucht" (GC1ZWY9), die
uns sehr gut gefallen haben. Bitte den Deckel der Dose immer
zudrehen, damit er auch gut hält.

Road to Linz
The rest area Engerwitzdorf is one of two opposing rest areas
(Denk and Engerwitzdorf) which are situated at the end of the
Mühlkreisautobahn A7. There is another cache at the other rest
area: "Road to Prague" (GC2348M)
The Mühlkreisautobahn starts in Linz and leads north to the
Mühlviertel. It currently ends after 27 km near
Unterweitersdorf. With 63.790 vehicles a day in the city area of
Linz the A7 is the second most frequented highway in Upper
Austria.
At the opening of the highway in 1964 it was planned to lead it to
the Czech border near Wullowitz/Dolní Dvorište. This
plan was then dismissed due to low traffic and environmental
reasons. Instead the highway was planned to lead through the
Gusental to Freistadt.
The current end of the highway in Unterweitersdorf can frequently
be heard in radio traffic info because of its high traffic volume.
It will be extended to north of Freistadt until 2015 as
Schnellstrasse S10. Until 2020/2025 it is planned to be completed
up to the Czech border.
The cache container's hiding place is similar to the ones of the
caches "Stadflucht" (GC1ZWYA) and "Landflucht" (GC1ZWY9) which we liked a lot. The
container's lid is a screw cap. Please close it accordingly.

Cesta do Lince
Dálnicní odpocívadlo Engerwitzdorf je
jedním ze dvou protilehlých odpocívadel (Denk
a Engerwitzdorf), jež leží na zacátku
dálnice A7 z Mühlviertlu do Lince. Na druhém
odpocívadle (Denk) se rovnež nachází
cache: "Cesta do Prahy" (GC2348M).
Dálnice A7 vede z Lince na sever do Mühlviertelu a
koncí v soucasné dobe po 27 kilometrech u
Unterweitersdorfu. Jedná se o druhou
nejfrekventovanejší komunikaci Horního
Rakouska: na území mesta Lince po ní denne
projede 63.790 vozidel.
Pri zahájení provozu této dálnice v
roce 1964 se plánovalo, že povede až k
ceským hranicím do Wullowitzu / Dolního
Dvorište. Z tohoto plánu však sešlo z
duvodu príliš malého provozu a z duvodu
ochrany životního prostredí. Místo toho
mela vést dálnice údolí rícky
Gusen smerem na Freistadt.
Na nynejší konec dálnice, o nemž se v
dusledku silného provozu hovorí casto ve
zprávách o stavu silnic, má do roku 2015
navázat rychlostní komunikace S10 do Freistadtu.
Výhledove má být tato komunikace
prodloužena do roku 2020/2025 až k hranicím.
Místo, kde je schována schránka s Cachem,
je orientováno podle caches "Stadtflucht" (útek z
mesta) (GC1ZWYA) a
"Landflucht" (útek z venkova) (GC1ZWY9), které se
nám velmi líbily. Dbejte prosím na to, aby
bylo vícko schránky vždy peclive
utaženo.
