WHAT:CHILI COOKOFF. Bring your favorite be it mild to hot and spicy,
Lets see how many different chili’s we can have this year. We would like to see if we can get 15 different chili’s.
If you cannot bring chili please bring your favorite side dish or a little dessert. .
We will have awards for the top 3 chili’s this year. There is also a geo coin for the best homemade dessert. The winner of the dessert contest will be decided by the cachers at the event. Bring your best cookies, cakes, pies, brownies, ice cream or whatever. Hey are you getting a little hungry for chili and dessert
WHEN:December 9, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Chili judging will begin around 12:00 followed by everyone eating great chili and dessert with the gift exchange and door prizes immediately after.
WHERE:South Park Senior Center or just go to the published coordinates.
There is also a white elephant gift exchange planned for those that want to participate. This is usually a lot of fun and generates plenty of laughs. There will be a separate gift exchange for youth under the age of 12. They can of course participate in the regular gift exchange if they want. We thought that they may enjoy more age appropriate gifts but that again is their decision. After the gift exchange we will also have some great door prizes to give away. If any cachers would like to contribute a wrapped door prize that would be appreciated

Plates, bowls, water and necessary utensils will be provided the event hosts. If you prefer a different beverage please bring it. There is no alcohol permitted on the premises.

This is the 10th Chili Cookoff we have hosted. It will also be our last and we are hoping that there is another cacher or cachers out there that are willing to keep the cookoff alive. We know that there are other cachers that would be willing to help with the event the way that they have helped us.
