 snowman salute

Come enjoy GR8 fun, GR8 fellowship, and your GR8 geocaching family!

 shoveling snow

Take a short break from all the hustle and bustle and shoveling.

Have a snack (please bring something to share (finger food only, please) while sharing holiday stories and your newly made new year’s resolutions. What better way to celebrate the Holidays than with a group of friends and fellow geocachers gathered around a pile of rewrapped gifts. Have you been considering your Most Interesting Christmas Gifts??? Here’s a fun way to exchange those items.

 elephant gif

The geocaching style re-gifting or white elephant exchange starts at 5pm.

  1. If you plan on joining in on the re-gifting exchange, there are a few simple rules to follow…
  2. Bring in something that you have gotten as a gift, that doesn’t quite suit you, or that you have multiples of.
  3. Wrap it. But, do not put anyone's name on it (not even your own). Don’t tell anyone what it is.
  4. One gift per team or geocacher (when you arrive, someone will be accepting the gifts and handing out a ticket for the exchange).
  5. The order of re-gift selection will be done randomly. When your name is called...you have the option of choosing a gift from the pile, or stealing someone else’s gift from them (this will cause them to choose another one).
  6. Once a gift has been stolen 3 times, it's dead and no longer in play and gets to be kept by that player. Who knows you might end up with what you brought in the first place!
