A Maker Madness Event - logged attendance earns you a Souvenier, and certificate of attendance. You'll also be welcome to take home a container and the basic elements for making your very own geocache.
When: Tuesday, April 1, 2014, 7 p.m. To 9 p.m.
Where: Middleton Public Library on Hubbard Street, Middleton WI
Why: to learn about geocaching and make some kool caches to spread the fun
For newbies and even those who have never geocached before, come and ask questions, learn the basics, learn hints and tips. Maybe even pick up your first container to place later.
For experienced cachers, share stories of your favorite hides and searching tips and tricks, and maybe carry away a container or two to inspire your next hide. Show off your own creations or give tips to those making one of their own.

Watch caching videos
What is geocaching; Maker Madness; etc.
Talk to other cachers:
- ask Experienced cachers questions, share your hide stories, make contacts, show off your most awesome containers; discover Travel Bugs; get hints and tips, etc.
Pick up some supplies for your own cache::

Show off your best stealthiest or most awesome container.
Story Time:
– come to the podium to talk to the group: Share stories of your favorite hides, show off what you brought for show and tell, or just introduce yourself and share a tip or hint.
And at least come and do the Middleton Library multi with its very own highly unusual placement and awesome container.
An assortment of containers, logs, stickers and help will be provided.
NOTE: There is another Maker Madness Event in Verona on the 3rd - you can consider these companion events. This one is educational, learning, crafts - focused on making containers with some socializing. Verona is social sharing stories - focus on sharing info hints and tips. You are welcome to attend both. And bring friends.
