I happened to be off the beaten path in Fountainhead when I heard a deep voice say "COOKIE". I found the cookie monster that looks like a tree or is it a tree that looks like a cookie monster? I didn't have a cookie but I gave it a cache container. That made the creature VERY happy. It had a huge smile when I left!
The hide is readily visible from a distance - when viewed from the right direction. The cache is readily visible in the hide. The walk in to place the cache using two shortcuts was 1.82 miles each way from Wolf Run Shoals Road.

An update added in July 2013. The tree and the face of Cookie Monster have taken a beating in the last five years. Thanks to all who have sought the cache in the past and will seek it in the future!
