This is my first cache to place. I am placing it on my birthday, with my first travel bug "Firefly."
Also included in the green, plastic box are: log book and pen, Life Assist key chain, mini flashlight, misc. fire-related erasers. My husband's contributions: Smokey The Bear baseball, Ontario Fire Dept. pin. My mom's contributions (visiting for my birthday): Green Crysal golf ball (Mom came in 2nd place and her team won $200 with this ball), Sierra View ball marker, orange long-tee. My daughter's contributions: agate rock, cross necklace.
This area has a bit of history. It is believed that this is the approximate location of the grandstands for the cross country ski competition during the 1960 Winter Olympics.
