8/17/05: Maintenance check.. everything looks great! No
skeeters!
In tribute to the dying breed of waysides. We will miss you.
Please go to Waysides Series for a complete listing of all the
waysides in this series and an explanation.
Conventional wayside with outhouse and hand pump. I stop often
at this wayside, take a stroll or take a nap. Very pretty.
This cache requires little stealth. Feel free for the kids to
take it to a picnic table away from the woods to play with the
toys.
Initial camo ammo box contains incense, old handwarmer (still
new in the box), spider toy, mouse plush toy, Nascar mini puzzle,
small picture frame and a box of greeting cards.
Going south from this point? Make sure to get the kids to go
potty. It's a long stretch of wilderness to the next bathroom.
Going south from this point? Stop at N 45 34.563 W 89 09.634 and
check out the old mileage sign inside.
Going north from this point? Stop at N 45 47.825 W 89 10.279 and
pick up some fruit products. Warning! Very delicious and
addictive.
Going north from this point and want a place to sleep. I often
spend the night at N 45 55.244 W 89 15.255. Show John this page and
he will give you a nice room for $40 (Sunday thru Thursday). Check
out the back of the building. Nice Eagle River waterfront.
First find goes to Crazy Buzzard (and his
Dad) from Neenah, WI on 6/19/04. Thanks!
