La Laide Ruelle Traditional Geocache

Le Chemin n°7 à Orbais porte un bien étrange nom : « La Laide Ruelle ». L’origine de cette dénomination inquiétante reste mystérieuse. Ce chemin, qui sépare le hameau d’Odenge des champs, est un magnifique chemin creux qui fut réhabilité par le Groupe Sentiers de Perwez et les juniors du Conseil Communal des Enfants le 12 mars 2005 (voir article 1, article 2). Cette cache traditionnelle est intégrée à la multi « La Brigade Piron », sympathique balade de 4 km à travers le paisible village d’Orbais. La cache est située sur le flanc du chemin.

Path Nr 7 in Orbais has a surprising name : “La Laide Ruelle” (Ugly Street). The origin of this strange name is mysterious. This path, between the fields and the Odenge hamlet, is a beautiful hollow path. It has been fully restored on March 12, 2005 by the Perwez Footpath Association and the juniors of the Perwezian Children’s Council (read article1, article 2). This traditional cache will be best integrated in the multi “La Brigade Piron”, a nice 4 km walk across the quite village of Orbais. The stash has been placed on a side of the path.
