This cemetery is located off a township drive that crosses a
farmhouse drive. You must enter in the residence drive south of the
cache at the parking coords and continue along the west side of the
property, and split the fields. Drive down the lane to the
cemetery. Please watch the golden retriever at the house. Be
respectful of this area since it is a shared area with a private
residence!

Spirit Quest"
The Ohio Spirit Quest series of geocaches will
take you to a number of historic cemeteries built by Buckeye
Pioneers. This series is inspired by and a continuation of the
Indiana Spirit Quest caches created by Six Dog Team. In just over
three years, the SPIRIT QUEST has grown to over 550 caches, with
the hiding teams growing as well. The Ohio Spirit Quest has begun
to grown to over 40 in Ohio, with five current caching teams, three
each with A Man and His Dog, one with a Couple and Their Dog... and
one with A Woman and her Dog.
Over 1,000 cachers have logged over 20,000
finds. One cache machine found 111 ISQ caches in a single day
(daylight hours only).

The Mikesell Cemetery is located west of Wauseon, north of SH 2 and
west of Township Road 15-1. Access is by a sod drive from SH 2. (NW
1/4 of SE 1/4 Sec 22, T7N R6E) The one-quarter acre burial ground
is on land deeded by the U.S. to Adam Mikesell in 1837. Burials at
the site date from 1840. Until 1910 a small Catholic cemetery was
located a few yards to the east. The Mikesell Cemetery has not had
a burial during this century.
The cache container is camo'ed matchstick.
If you find a fallen US flag, please stick it
back in the ground. As always, please be respectful, and cache in,
trash out.
