Ziepniekkalns nav tālu no Rīgas centra. Šeit ir bērnu rotaļlaukumi, zaļi apstādījumi, skola un pelbaseins — tādēļ ir grūti pat iztēloties, kādas šausmas te valdīja vēl pirms dažiem gadiem. Tai laikā Ziepniekkalnu burtiski terorizēja jauniešu banda. Naktīs viņi zaga automašīnas, un tad ar tām rīkoja nelegālas autosacīkstes netālajos meža celiņos, bez žēlastības sadragājot tās lupatās: (visit link)

Savas kriminālās izklaides Banda meta pie miera tikai austot rīta gaismai, un tad mašīnas sadedzināja, lai slēptu sava nozieguma pēdas. Baisie ugunskuri, kas uzliesmoja mežā netālu no dzīvojamā rajona vai ik nedēļu, iedvesa īstas šausmas iedzīvotājos.

Ziepniekkalns is one of the newest neighborhood of Riga. Some years ago Gang of Ziepniekkalns raged there few years ago. Guys steal cars, then organize illegal races all the night. Before Sunrise they burned them to hide the traces of the crime.

However, the environment around Ziepniekkalns still looks a bit scary.
A place where placed an ambush, was burned last machine - then gang caught by police and now gang are in prison.
