A Skipper and Gillygann set sail for a three hour tour of Lake George in 1757. A three hour tour!! They haven't been seen since! The only thing searchers found was the Skipper's Jib which Gillygann forgot to secure in the heavy winds. A natural monument stands to honor the fearless crew of the Guppie that was lost. The Guppie that was lost!!
This cache commemorates the 250th Anniversary of The Guppie being lost to the waters of Lake George.
