Während vor einigen Jahren noch Landwirtschaft die Sickinger Höhe kennzeichnete, kam sukzessive ein weiteres Merkmal hinzu: Die Windkraftanlagen. Man kann darüber streiten, ob sie die Landschaft bereichern oder verschandeln. Eines ist jedoch sicher: Vor Sonnenuntergängen, wenn der Himmel in schönen Rottönen über dem Horizont steht, oder bei aufsteigendem Nebel entsteht mit den langsam drehenden Windrädern eine grandiose Kulisse.
Es würde mich freuen, wenn ihr zu eurem Logeintrag auch ein Bild einstellt, das ihr vor Ort aufgenommen habt (dies ist keine Logbedingung!).
Die Box bietet ausreichend Platz für Coins und Trackables. Bitte achtet darauf, dass ihr nicht von Muggeln entdeckt werdet - die tauchen dort häufiger auf und führen ihre Vierbeiner gassi.

Everytime we drive to and from our home in Knopp, we are in awe of how beautiful it is up here in the Sickinger Höhe! I can't begin to count the number of times I've stopped to take pictures of the windmills, the fog rolling in, the mist settled deep in the valleys, the picturesque churches and towers or the beautiful sunsets. Drive out to this cache and let this beautiful area take your breath away, too.
There is parking very close to the cache at one of the many windmills so you can make it a park and grab if you'd like. If you want to make it a longer walk through the windpark, you can park at the church in Knopp. If you'd like to meet other cachers in the area, please join my group - Geocache KMC - on Facebook.
