The pencils have been lovingly sharpened, chewed, stuck in places you just don’t want to know about, fired across classrooms, prodded classmates, and now and again, used for the odd piece of work. Some pencils may have come from elsewhere, but that would be advertising so we can’t mention any Swedish homeware store. Even the log book bags once held grapes sold in the school tuck shop before they were retrieved from various not so hungry children. The only things that cost money are the swaps, and no. I didn’t shoplift them!!!
A short walk along the edge of a wood and a farmer's field. Bonnie views over the Angus countryside, some of the best arable land in Scotland, with views north to the Angus Glens.
There's no proper parking here. Best to park in Broomwell Gardens, a residential street and walk back along the main road. Although it's the main road it is a quiet country road BUT there are NO pavements so you will need to walk back along the road, to the start at a padlocked wooden gate.
Terrain is flat but may be squelchy underfoot after rain.
