Geocache Description:



Jangle Bells serves as an elf at the North Pole for Santa Claus's operations in The Year Without a Santa Claus. Along with his fellow elf Jingle Bells, he is sent into the outside world by Mrs. Claus to find a town that still believes in Santa Claus.

The more dim-witted of the two elves, Jangle speaks in a heavy drawl and moves about in a clumsy fashion. Not all of his head is full of stuffing though, as it is Jangle who accurately diagnoses their reindeer companion Vixen's vitals as she becomes ill in the warm weather of Southtown.


The winter series theme this year involves characters from the classic Rankin/Bass Stop-Motion animation TV Specials that first aired in the 60's, 70's, and early 80's.
