Geocache Description:

This is part of the Sandhills Region Challenge Series. Find 13 geocaches hidden in the 14 Sandhills Region State Parks. Decipher the clues and find the final cache- Sandhills Region Challenge Final. First 10 finders get 10% off two nights camping. Good for one stay.

You are looking for an ammo can located at Cheraw State Park. I upped the terrain rating because you might get your feet a little wet if it has recently rained. Hidden in typical ammo can fashion.

A boardwalk built in 1990 connects the main day use area to the campground. A great view of
Lake Juniper along the lake helps visitors enjoy the scenic setting, and kayakers particularly enjoy
silently scooting into the cypress wetlands at the lake’s edge.

There is no entrance fee to this park.
