Am 25. März 2017 laden deutschlandweit Sternwarten und Planetarien zum Astronomietag ein. Das Haus der Astronomie auf dem Heidelberger Königstuhl öffnet an diesem Tag exklusiv für Geocacher (und natürlich kostenfrei) seine Pforten. Parken könnt ihr direkt gegenüber auf dem Parkplatz des Max-Planck-Instituts für Astronomie. Von 16 bis 19 Uhr wird im Foyer des Gebäudes das Logbuch ausliegen. Dort ist auch jede Menge Platz für ein Buffet, zu dem jeder der möchte gerne etwas beitragen kann. Bei klarem Himmel werden vor dem Gebäude Teleskope bereitstehen, mit denen ihr einen Blick auf die Sonne und die Planeten werfen könnt.
Jeweils um 16:30 Uhr, 17:15 Uhr und 18 Uhr könnt ihr euch gemeinsam mit uns im Planetarium auf eine virtuelle Reise durch das Universum begeben. Der Cachernachwuchs ist bei diesem Event natürlich ebenfalls herzlich willkommen. Für eure Zeitplanung und um zu vermeiden, daß mehr Leute als Sitzplätze vorhanden sind auf einmal ins Planetarium möchten, würden wir euch aber bitten, euch wenn möglich im Voraus eine der drei Vorführungen auszusuchen und über diesen Doodle eure Plätze zu reservieren.
On March 25th 2017, observatories and planetariums all over Germany will host the Astronomy Day. The House of Astronomy on top of the Königstuhl in Heidelberg will open exclusively for geocachers and without any fee on that day. You can use the big parking area of the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy opposite the House of Astronomy. The logbook will be available in the entrance area of the building from 4 pm to 7 pm. There will a buffet, and you are invited to bring whatever you want to share. When the skies are clear, telescopes to observe the Sun or the planets will be set up in front of the building.
Starting at 16.30, 17.15, and 18.00, you can join us in the planetarium for a journey through the Universe (the show will however be in German). Junior cachers are of course also welcome at this event. In order to make scheduling easier and to avoid that more of you want to enter the planetarium at the same time than seats are available, we ask you to choose your preferred time for the show in advance and book your seats via this Doodle.
