Geocache Description:

Sunday Dec. 10th, 3-5 PM  It's the Fourth annual Ugly Sweaters event!  Please get out your ugliest sweaters and join us for some holiday fun!  Meet at Freewheel Brewing Co. to get in a festive mood with house-brewed beers, soft drinks and a casual food menu. Geocachers and muggle friends of all ages are welcome!  Bring a small geocaching- related gift for a holiday grab-bag.

Merry mittens, Winter weather, Santa hats, and UGLY SWEATERS!

We've had a great time hosting all of the last three "Ugly Sweaters" events, so we hope you'll accept this invitation to get out those holiday outfits, get even more creative, and celebrate the season with us in our most favorite way!  We love "ugly sweaters" and holiday-themed clothing of all kinds! Holiday hats, ties, scarves, jewelry, socks, vests, and of course sweaters, are just some of the wardrobe items that people could be sporting at this event!  Photos will be taken laugh

Please bring a small wrapped geocaching-related gift for the holiday grab bag!  This is totally optional, but has always been a lot of fun, and works best with a lot of participants.  Gift ideas in the $5 range could include small (or tricky) containers, useful tools, UNactivated travel bugs or coins, or many different kinds of fun trade items...geocachers have such great imaginations!  Gifts have always been fun, family-friendly and often very creative :-)

Travel bugs that are active can also be brought to the event and will be put out and discovered or picked up to continue their journeys!

Freewheel Brewing Co.  (3736 Florence St., Redwood City) is a casual restaurant with a pub-style menu and a variety of house-brewed beer and ale. Soft drinks are also available- the venue is appropriate for all ages. The event will end around 5 PM.

There is a large parking lot serving the businesses in this shopping center. Please help me give the restaurant an accurate head-count by posting your RSVP! Thank you :-)
