I was caching in the area and pulled over to take a conference call when I noticed this great cacheless park, Matcalf Park.
The Coyote Creek Parkway, south of San Jose, provides an excellent place to ride in a natural open space setting. The paved trail, 15 miles one way, is a great place to ride and improve endurance or to simply admire the peaceful scenery. The trail connects some of the best parks south of San Jose, such as Coyote Hellyer County Park, Coyote Creek Park, and others. The mostly level trail provides a great experience for family cyclists.
