A vist to one of Bodmin Moor`s minor tors.
Codda is one of the smaller tors on the western part of the moor. It`s easily overlooked as it`s not on the route to any of the bigger tors but is still interesting enough to be worth a visit.
Much (but not all) of the nearby moorland is "Right to Roam" access land. The best route in is from Jamaica Inn via Tolborough Tor. From Tolborough head north-west towards Catshole Tor passing through a gate at waypoint "W1". Bear slightly right to a clump of rocks about 300 metres away then continue towards another gate - waypoint "W2" and on to the tor. This dog-leg route avoids a small area of private land & some boggy ground. The latest edition of O.S. map "Explorer no. 109" is useful if walking in this area. Please keep dogs under close control during the lambing & bird nesting seasons.
You are looking for a 1 litre plastic box hidden among the boulders.
