The cache is in an ammo box a little ways off the trail. This is a
beautiful walk along the river through a Ponderosa Pine plantation.
There are picnic tables and benches along the trail. Take mosquito
repellent.
There are frequently people and dogs around, be cautious when
searching. Take some time to read the informative signs on the way.
And the loop trail is worth following around to explore the area
when you are done caching. This park has some river access for
swimming and fishing, and the picnic tables are in good condition.
We highly recommend exploring this area as it is very pretty all
year round.
Coordinates were checked multiple times approaching from different
directions with 5 satellites locked and an error radius of
30ft.
Notice to bike riders: This is a
walking/running trail only.
NOTE: Make sure to sign the cache logbook, as online "Found
It" logs without a corresponding entry in the logbook will be
deleted. We wouldn't want any "cheaters" now would we.
