Geocache Description:

Aare on peidetud kohta, kus kunagi ammu elas Suti nimeline mees, peidukohast umbes 70 m mere poole vaiadele ehitatud majakeses. Kujutate ette elu seal aastaringi majakeses tormiga, kui vesi loksub põranda alt läbi. Nüüdseks on sellest ainult mälestus. Eriti kena on siin vaade merele päikeseloojangu ajal.

ENG: When driving here, you may be surprised at first that you have to drive to someone's yard, but in reality this is not the case. The road just leads through the yard. In addition, you have to cross another strange rampart. This rampart is more than 4 km long, runs along the coast from Häädemeeste to Rannametsa and is man-made, namely during the storm, this facility protects the residents, so that the houses do not fall under the rising water. The treasure is hidden in a place where a man named Suti once lived, in a cottage built on piles towards the sea about 70 m from the hiding place. You can imagine life in a cottage all year round with a storm as water spills from under the floor. For now, it's just a memory. The place itself has not been left behind, science is being done here, the plant communities of the coastal meadow, the nesting of birds and the effect of predators (jackals, foxes) during the nesting are studied. Ornithologists have their nest away from the reed, where they inspect the nesting and migrating birds in the summer and autumn, which fly into the nets, then weigh them, measure them and ring them. And the work of mowing the lawn has been done here by cattles, they have a nice control over the growth of reeds. The view of the sea at sunset is especially nice here.
