Trail!!!
This is a 50 cache Geoart, and our second one we have made so far!
It’s located in a very special place to us, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Know before you Go: There is no potable water, nor restrooms on the trail.
The trail containing the caches is 100% paved and is approximately 11.5 miles roundtrip.
There is a 0.1 mile portion that is packed dirt at the very end.
There are no motorized vehicles allowed on this trail.
We have seen people out here with E-bikes before, however there are 3 barricades to block access to cars that have pedestrian/bicycle pass thrus, that you will need to lift your e-bike over, so come with help if you plan to e-bike this!
Bring your cameras and your binoculars! This trail is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail and you will see lots of them during your visit!
Keep in mind the time of year you plan to visit; deer fly can be intense, as well as mosquitoes and horsefly. There is not much in the way of shelter, so rain and wind are important factors as well.
There is LOTS of poison wood out here! We did NOT attach any of the containers to poisonous hosts, however they are in abundance and will likely be growing very near to where the caches are. Know your surroundings and don’t just dive in! Dress appropriately!
The caches are on a separate trail from the buildings, but if you want a real treat, take a detour through the compound! It’s a lot of fun! (and there are 2 adventure labs there too!)
