Geocache Description:

Easy Cache placed convenient to parking and beautiful surroundings. Nice walk and easy to get to.

Off Interstate I-79, Exit 139, Prickett's Fort. Follow the signs to Prickett's Fort State Park. Follow the signs into the park, park in the lower parking lot nearest the river and look for the signs for the Rail Trail that parallels the River. It's not far at all North along the river. The cache is outside of the park boundaries.
You can aso bike to the cache on the MCPARC Bike Trail. Check their website for more info (www.mcparc.com)
Monongahela River is one of the few rivers in the world that actually flows North joining the Allegheny in Pittsburgh to become the mighty Ohio.
After you have found my cache head back to the park and check out the replica of Prickett's Fort. There are some additional trails around the park, fishing, boating, biking, and during the summer you may find an encampment going on by the fort. The fort is open daily during the summer. If you have some extra scraps bring them for the many ducks and geese that reside in the area.
There are some trinkets I have collected in the box, a Tupperware container painted gray.
