Geocache Description:

Use Connecticut Route 49 and proceed East on Sand Hill Road, which becomes Green Fall Road. Park and walk north to Green Fall Pond. Walk east along the dam at the south side of Green Fall Pond to pick up the Narragansett Trail. After Dinosaur Caves, this becomes Freeman Trail. An easy walk among beautiful rock and foliage both summer and winter.

Nearly on RI/Conn border, this is a traditional ammo can cache placed by conservation-minded Boy Scouts of Troop 33 on Independence Day, 2009. It replaced a damaged, unregistered geocache that was in a plastic snack can with hole. Any salvageable contents of the previous cache were placed in this new one, including its yellow screw top. However, the log book was unreadable due to water damage. The new log book was placed by T33, along with their Jungle Week themed, dashboard monkey.
