Ulica Bohaterów Monte Cassino, czyli tzw. Monciak, chociaż ma mniej niż kilometr długości, jest jedną z najbardziej znanych ulic w Polsce. W XVII wieku była po prostu drogą łączącą rolniczą część Sopotu (obecny Górny Sopot) z osadą rybacką nad morzem. Większość budynków znajdujących się przy ulicy Bohaterów Monte Cassino została wybudowana na przełomie XIX i XX wieku. Wystarczy im się przyjrzeć, żeby dostrzec, że dbano wówczas o urodę i detale wznoszonych obiektów mieszkalno - pensjonatowych, nadając im urozmaiconą formę.

Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street, the so-called Monciak, although less than one kilometer long, is one of the most famous streets in Poland. In the 17th century, it was simply a road connecting the agricultural part of Sopot (today's Upper Sopot) with a fishing village by the sea. Nowadays it is a pedestrian zone, visited by crowds of tourists who are attracted by numerous restaurants, cafes and clubs and ... the popularity of this place.
Most of the buildings at Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street were built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is enough to look at them to see that the beauty and details of the residential and guest houses were taken care of at the time, giving them a varied forms.
Take a walk along ul. Boh. Monte Cassino, paying attention to architecture and details. Think what you could put on a postcard from Monciak.

In each of the two locations selected from the list, take a picture and attach it to your log. Make sure you make:
- a picture of a building with a tower or a turret
- a picture of the architectural detail noticed on a facade of a building standing at Monciak (decorative balcony, balustrade, cornice, bas-relief, etc.)
