CITO = Cache In, Trash Out Event. Brownsburg stormwater personnel are hosting the event. The event is planned to help the community meet their stormwater public participation requirements as well as keep trash out of our waterways. It happens on Saturday, April 29, 2017 – during CITO spring event week.
Posted coordinates are for the gathering/parking area. Please check-in for a small meet and greet. We’ll meet at the posted coordinates at 1pm to pick up supplies and receive instructions. Trash bags, hand sanitizer, trash grabbers, disposable gloves will be supplied. Please bring grabbers if you have any. Heavy-duty gloves, boots & bug spray are always helpful and highly recommended. Poison ivy and briars maybe present throughout the area. There is some steep terrain as well as some open flat areas. You will need to watch out for geese & we will be near an active Railroad track.
Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. The clean-up site(s) may be muddy– especially if it rains prior to the event.
Event organizers will provide water. Please note in your "Will Attend" how many members will be in your group so we can get a good head count.
Collectible tags available to each participate while supplies last!
