Parking is available at the start of the walk which is free – yes FREE – however there is a donation box, which is fair enough. It can be muddy in places particularly after rain, when approaching PHW 2, so boots or wellies recommended.
I am sorry about the traffic noise from the A66 – one of those things I’m afraid.
Car Park Co-ordinates are: N54 37.663 W003 12.542
Thank you to the Lake District National Park Authority for allowing the placement of these caches
I recommend that the caches be done in order, even though PHW 5 will be the nearest to the parking area. Head through the gate in SE corner of the car park and you are on your way.
PLEASE DON'T PUT PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE CACHES ONLINE, ALLOW OTHERS TO DISCOVER.
Enjoy
Congratulations to mazbarnes on being the FTF.
I am afraid that Age and Ill Health has now caught up with me and I am unable to maintain my geocaches as I would like. I am therefore going to ARCHIVE this series along with others within the next few months.
If any fellow cachers would like to keep any of the containers for their own use, please help yourselves - JUST INFORM ME WHICH ONES YOU TAKE, so others can be informed.
In view of the above PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE TRACKABLES, RETRIEVE ANY BY ALL MEANS.
PLEASE NOTE: This series will now be archived on WED. 7th Sep 2022
